Luxe: Premier Shopping and Networking Event

IMG_5602The Luxe Shopping event at 51 Fifteen provided a unique opportunity to come face to face with luxury designers and one of a kind pieces while enjoying friends and cocktails yesterday.  With the beautiful setting of 51 Fifteen guests browsed premier lines and had one on one time with some of the designers of these fierce pieces.  The event was the brain child of celebrity stylist Travis Cal and Dex La Roux and with some of the brightest stars in fashion leading the way, it was almost impossible not to walk away with something that you love from the event.  All of the brands brought their A game, but here are a couple of designers that were new to me and was instantly love at first sight:

Jose Sanchez:

Me with Luigi Santos Jose Sanchez vest Jose Sanchez purses Jose Sanchez jacketIn stepping into the space for Jose Sanchez designs my jaw literally dropped.  The workmanship and styling on his exotic leathers clothing and bags was bare none.   From jackets to vest to dresses to purses every piece presented by Luigi spoke to women on the cutting edge of fashion.  My personal love was an orange vest that served sassy, classy, and lux all in one heaping helping.  With motorcycle jackets and trenches also in the mix the designer, Jose Sanchez took a fresh new spin on leather apparel and elevated the status for the better.

Presmer Anne clutchLeather was the star of the evening for me and Presmer continued the celebration of leather with a wide selection from jewelry to bags to shoes and even home décor in leather.  Presmer loves leather and it shows as the material is sculpted in some surpassing ways to produce designs that would be hard to find anywhere else in the variety and quality offered by Presmer.  The Anne clutch and matching Lane cuff provide luxury can be sensible and showcased some diversity with the strap for an easy conversion to a messenger bag.

2 African Girls:

2 African GirlsAs an up and coming brand it can be difficult to really make a statement on who the brand is and why it is unique.  2 African Girls did that with ease in present fashions that are fun, bold, and incorporate prints that give a nod to beautiful tribal prints and colors.  The result is some one of kind designs that balance being trendy with really be true to your own style.  Making a statement is a must in the designs by 2 African Girls.
